Meet the Principal

Meet Brandon Miller, Principal of Northwest Elementary. Miller started his career in education as an Elementary Special Education teacher for four years before working as a K-5 Instructional coach for three years. Most recently, he has served as the District Academic Intervention Coordinator, responsible for aligning curriculum and instructional supports for all grade levels in the district.

 

Miller received a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science, Emphasis K-12 Physical Education from Western Colorado University, a Master of Science in special education preK-12, a Master of Science in building administration, and is completing a graduate degree in education administration-education specialist from Fort Hays State University. Additionally, he is certified in Language Essentials for Teaching Reading and Spelling (LETRS Facilitator), including early Childhood. He has extensive training in Dyslexia and preK-12 grade curriculum and was a featured speaker at MTSS Symposium for leadership, reading, and math.

Brandon is married to Chelsey; they have two boys, ages 5 and 8. They love watching sporting events and participating in wrestling, baseball, and community activities. Often, they volunteer for Special Olympics and local benefit drives.
